2go Chat: How To Connect 2go Application To Facebook Account

Connecting your 2go application to your facebook account will give you free access to chat with your facebook friends without them knowing that you are chatting with them via 2go application on your mobile device.
You can easily connect your 2go messenger to your facebook account with no hassle, but you must have to know your facebook UserName in order to link the two account perfectly. If it happened that you don't know your facebook UserName, which is very vital for any 2go User to be able to successfully connect his/her facebook to 2go chatting application.

How To Get Facebook Username?

Go to == http://www.facebook.com/username/ to create your own unique username for your facebook profile. Your username can also be known as a profile nick name.

Once you have successfully created your unique UserName, it will look something like this: www.facebook.com/YourUniqueUsername. Take for instance my own profile username is: www.facebook.com/vicky4jah, so in this case "Vicky4jah" is my facebook username. That means your username comes after "/" i.e (www.facebook.com/"username").

How Do I Connect 2go Messenger And Facebook?

Please before proceeding you must make sure your 2go application is working fine on your mobile device, and that your facebook username you created and password are all working!

Log in to your 2go chat application
Click on setting
Scroll down and click on (Gateways)
Select (facebook Gateways)

Select (Facebook Gateway) from the options then click on "Activate"
Finally, Enter your facebook username and password in the space as shown below.

Now click on "Submit" ✔ and you're done!

Note: The characters are case-sensitive, so you must make sure to enter only lowercase letters, i.e (use small letters to enter your facebook username and password).

Be aware that you should only enter your "username" without "~~www.facebook.com~~".

If you want to get involved in 2go mobile chat, you will have to open 2go account. You can easily register 2go account on your mobile device. Once you are successfully registered, 2go application will be automatically installed on your mobile phone.

How To Open 2go Account For Free?

Follow This Steps: Goto ==> http://www.2go.co.za through the mobile browser of your choice, ==> Now you will see a welcome message asking you to confirm your country, ==> Another page will open asking you to choose your language, ==> Select and click Go ==> Another page will come asking you to get the new mobile messenger, click on the "Download 2go" link, ==> Another page will open requesting for your phone number, Enter Your Phone Number and click Go, ==> A new page will open asking for your: First Name, Last Name, Username, Gender, Birthday & Location.
Note: Make sure you fill the form with accurate informations as requiered, then click on Proceed.

You must make sure that the username you provided during registration is something that is easy to remember, because that's what friends will be using to add you, though they can also use your phone number but it's always advisable to choose something memorable.

If the username you chooses has already not been used by another person, your 2go account will be created and you will see a new page showing your 2go username and password, so you may just have to copy the login details which is the username and password and save them somewhere, either on your mobile phone or PC. Now your phone will automatically be detected and the 2go Application will be installed on your phone, if installed correctly you will be logged in, and you can now start adding and chatting with your 2go friends.

Once you are logged in, start Editing you profile, adding picture to your profile, keeping your 2go profile status up-to date and joining 2go chat rooms!

Forgot 2go Password Or Username? Visit http://wap.2go.im on your phone, choose your country, click 'Get Help', then select 'I forgot my password/PIN' from the menu. This will provide you with details on retrieving your password.

How To Change 2go Profile Detail? Visit http://wap.2go.im, choose your country, click 'Get Help' and then 'I want to edit my profile' and you will be able to change your user details. Please be aware that you can only change your details once, no further changes are allowed. Happy 2go! pals.
