You can either use a hands-free device, a Bluetooth wireless device, a car-kit or a speakerphone when you drive, without holding the cell phone in hand. Usually wired, a hands-free device only requires a simple plug-in to connect directly to the cell phone for use. There are many different types of hands-free devices in the market, such as designs with ear-hook, ear-wrap or even twin ear buds. Many of today’s hands-free devices come with extended long boom microphones, making it more user-friendly. Some may also include a movable clip along the cord, so users can clip the device on shirts.

Compare to the wired hands-free device, a Bluetooth wireless headset may be much more convenient.
