Jennifer Aniston can be called many things (beautiful, funny, successful) but she can rarely be called surprising. This is a woman who remains devoted to her favorite pairs of shoes and chinos after many years; one who won’t change up her hair regardless of the occasion and one whose LBD obsession is so well-documented we’ve practically begged her to wear color.

Well, add “surprising” to that list of adjectives, because the actress just attended the London premiere of We’re the Millers in a ruffly, A-line, tiered, two-tone floral dress and a deep side part. She even added (are you sure you’re ready for this?) slightly colorful eye makeup and statement earrings. Purple statement earrings!

This is such a major departure for the star that we’re not sure which way is up or down. What’s next: Bright pink lipstick? An asymmetrical yellow wedding dress? Shaving her head? (Hey, it could happen!) It’s too soon to speculate. For the moment, we’ll be pouring a glass of wine to soothe our nerves from this shock — and to toast the star’s new risk-taking style.
