Google's New Algorithm - Hummingbird

On September 27th 2013, Google has celebrated its 15th birthday successfully. On that evening, it had revealed a new search algorithm named “Hummingbird” which had been designed curiously to provide fastest search results for the semantic search queries. This means that it had been designed to return better results for the appropriate search and it is highly keen in making changes to the algorithm more often.

The Algorithm Hummingbird has been designed to pay higher attention to every keyword in the search term and as well the meaning, conversation and whole sentence has been takes in to account. The main motive is to make the page associate with meaning rather than few words.
Even though, the algorithm has been declared publicly on its birthday, the algorithm has been rolling out for the past one month. It’s not similar to Panda and Penguin algorithm in which usually updates are made to the existing algorithm whereas Hummingbird algorithm needs complete replacement.

It just seems to be the new set of Algorithm after Page Rank algorithm, but it doesn’t mean that page rank algorithm is dead. But in real, Hummingbird has done some consideration for Page Rank algorithm. Google now wish to go behind this new algorithm, because it’s precise and fast. David Amerland, who is an Author and search engine expert of Google Semantic Search had revealed two most significant things, they are,
First is to have increased ability to deal with complex search queries and as well to have indexing entities and the second one is to get better relational linking search queries.

Now with this algorithm, it is possible for the users to get what they look for; it is not only related with the keywords but as well the whole sentence that have been framed with. This algorithm work proportionally with user’s needs and provides most accurate results with loads of enhancements. The most important thing that should be noted is Google concentrates on the quality of the content to make it available on the top of the search engine.
Amerland as well explained about the SEO services regarding the optimization benefits that can be obtained due to the movement of Google towards semantic search,
“From a strategy point of view this opens the horizon for companies and webmasters considerably. From a practical perspective, the need to identify the USP of each business and become authoritative within it is now a key criteria for continued SEO success. The comparison element that has been integrated suggests that semantic mark-up may begin to confer an advantage now when it comes to helping index information in products and services.”
It provides lots of benefits to both users and as well webmasters, but even most of the SEO services get feared whether it may produce damage to the search results that they tend to made for the websites they optimize. But after a detailed research it had been considered that there is no effect for SEO due to this new algorithm. If you still lost your rank in Google, then it means that it is not a result of this algorithm, it occurs due to changes that have been made in the new search engine and in fact there is no place for poor or bad quality content. Make use of it, Google will definitely expose you to the outside world.
