Samsung Exclaim (m550) – Great for Texting and Social Networking Fans

Exclusively from Sprint, Samsung Exclaim (m550) is the latest messaging handset from the manufacturer as a successor of the Rant (m540). The most significant change is that Exclaim comes with a dual-slider form factor, leaving room for a larger 2.6" QVGA display, and also offering a QWERTY keyboard and a numeric keypad.

As a messaging-centric device, Exclaim is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard that allows quick and easy text entry. Users can stay connected with friends and family via SMS, MMS and instant messaging (IM). You can also keep track with your emails in corporate and POP3 email accounts like AOL, Gmail and Yahoo anytime, at anywhere.

With Sprint’s OneClick interface, Exclaim offers one-click access to social networking sites like MySpace, Twitter and Facebook right on its Home Screen. Users can check their status, quickly update, share pictures and post comments on these popular sites.

Thanks to the carrier’s well-built network, Exclaim users can enjoy a nice array of Sprint services on the phone. You can download songs from Sprint Music store, watch live and on-demand programs on Sprint TV, or listen to more than 150 channels via Sprint Radio. Users who drive can also obtain audible turn-by-turn driving directions using Sprint Navigation as the handset is GPS-enabled.

Exclaim sports an integrated media player, a 2-megapixel camera and camcorder, and a MicroSD expansion slot, which supports up to 32GB memory card size, for storing tunes, photos, videos and other content. The handset also features 3G data connectivity and stereo Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free headsets and headphones.

Measuring 4.5" x 2.2" x 0.7" (H x W x D) and weighing 4.7 oz, Exclaim is slim and lightweight, fitting great in hand. It is now available in two colors, Raspberry or Blueberry.

With sleek and stylish design, as well as solid and comprehensive messaging and media features, Samsung Exclaim is surely a good pick for both heavy text messaging and social media users.
