It seems that every mate around you fancies the logo of a bitten apple. The following fact may just upset them a little bit: Android has outrun Apple’s iOS and now is the most popular smartphone operating system in the UK, according to Kantar Worldpanel ComTech.

A survey done by the prominent market research firm early this year found that over one third – 36.9% to be precise –  of UK smartphone consumers own an Android.  Apple’s iPhone comes in next, with 28.5% of the total share.
